40 Years of Edmund Rice Camps Celebration

40 Years of Edmund Rice Camps Celebration

For over 40 years, Edmund Rice Camps Victoria have provided residential camp experiences for young people and families facing adversity. Developed and grown in Melbourne, Eddie Rice Camps have spread across the world and continue to provide an opportunity for intense relationship and confidence building through a 1:1 ratio of participants to volunteers. Each year, we provide a range of camp programs including kids, families and teens camps.

The Story behind Edmund Rice Camps ~ conceived in 1981 by a small group of Christian Brothers and students from Parade College, Bundoora, Edmund Rice Camps are now hosted in countries around the world.

“Have courage, the good seed will grow up in the children's hearts later on.... "

~ Edmund Rice to Brother Edward Patrick O’Flaherty, Gibraltar, 1837
